My journey through chronic pain

Built Ford Tough

Today has been the BEST day, so far. I’ve only been on the road a week so I had to add so far. I went on a Ford Rouge Factory Tour, saw a couple of videos about Henry Ford and the manufacturing of an F-150 and toured the F-150 assembly area. Then I walked through the Henry Ford Museum and got my picture taken in the exact seat Rosa Parks sat in on the exact bus she was on. I spent 4 hours there, between the two buildings and it was the best four hours I’ve spent thus far. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. When I left there, I continued on to Fair Lane, the Henry Ford Estate. You can’t go inside right now but you can walk the grounds, and it was so beautiful and peaceful. I met a Dearborn school music teacher while I walking around the grounds, a super nice woman and I really enjoyed talking to her. She had mentioned that she was going to check out this blog and that my story has made her think that maybe she wants to do something like this.

I’ve thought about that all day and what I’d like to say to her, if she’s reading this, is if my story has inspired anything in you I hope that it is belief in yourself, and that no matter how bad things may be and how low you may feel, if you look inside yourself you will find the strength you need to get through anything.

I think that’s a good place to end today.
